Osprey Kestrel 38

The Kestrel series packs are made from tough, bluesign-approved nylon fabric. They’re not exactly “race-light”, but in return their lifespan is very long. The carrying system and the shape of the pack are designed to work in terrain where you need to weave between branches and tree trunks.

Kestrel is the English name for a small falcon. The Kestrel pack has been part of Osprey’s range for years, and it’s been a really popular choice for hiking and trekking use.

At 38 litres, the Kestrel 38 works as a large day pack when, in addition to the basics, you need room for things like camera or fishing gear, or a child’s equipment. If you focus on keeping your gear light enough, it also works as a weekend trip pack during the snow-free season.
