Die Dämpfung des Clifton-Schuhs ist für Hoka-Verhältnisse mittelmäßig, im Vergleich zu anderen Schuhherstellern sind Hokas aber immer außergewöhnlich gut gedämpft. Er ist eine sehr beliebte Wahl für lange Strecken bei leichten Ausdauerläufen und zügigen Spaziergängen.
